Back when my work had me constantly on the move, I tried to prepare my meals at home and carry them with me in plastic containers. They were convenient, easy to use, and came in all shapes and sizes. However, what many people don't realize is that numerous plastic containers can leach harmful chemicals into your food. Unfortunately, we can't easily break down these "forever chemicals," as they're often referred to.
But fear not! Some brilliant minds have made strides in breaking down these chemicals on a small scale. Still, we can do our part by reducing our use of plastic and other toxic materials when it comes to storing and transporting our lovingly prepared meals.
